A Private Residence in the Heart of Rome
Villa Spalletti Trivelli was commissioned by Countess Gabriella Rasponi, widow of Count Venceslao Spalletti Trivelli, on land opposite the gardens of the Quirinal Palace. Designed by architect Domenico Avenali, it became both a family home and a cultural meeting place for writers, politicians and intellectuals.
The property remained in the family and was eventually converted into a luxury residence by Giangiacomo Spalletti Trivelli and his wife Susanna. That continuity still shapes the experience. Their service arrangements differ from accommodation in the main villa, making them best suited to guests who place a premium on space and autonomy.
For those who prefer to stay within the historic residence itself, the Grand Deluxe Suite is the leading choice. Offering approximately 55 to 60 square metres overlooking the private gardens, it has a separate living room, walk-in wardrobe and marble bathroom with a bath and extra-large shower. Antiques and original prints maintain the character found throughout the villa.
The Junior Suite provides a smaller suite alternative overlooking the gardens, with a walk-in wardrobe and study. The Prestige Deluxe Double Room and Romantic Double Room complete the main accommodation choices for guests who prefer a more conventional room.
